About me.
David is a ceramicist based out of Bangor, Northern Ireland. He is currently in his final year at Ulster University. David works primarily in clay and is versatile with the clay bodies he uses. Much of David's practice involves mould making and casting. He has a passion for his work and for the craft and making community
About my work.
The work I create often explores theme's within the human condition, such as memory, identity, loss, and other areas of life and culture. I have a fascination with personal and cultural identity and the stories that we create along those journeys, whether they are through objects, people, places or life events. What makes us human, what separates us from each other and how we get there, are the tools that I use to inspire my work.
